The brilliant blue violet of the California sky
The drama of landscapes and moodiness of city streets
The explosive beauty of the human form
The emotion below its surface
The nuance revealed in a simple gesture
The play of light and shadow on shapes and colors
These are the types of things that call to me, that inspire my imagination. They are the things that compel me to want to create objects of beauty and mystery. They are the type of things I try to capture and then communicate, to share the magic I find in them.
I live in San Francisco and paint and draw at my studio at Hunter’s Point
Naval Shipyard, as well as outdoors.
I show my work twice a year at the Hunters Point Shipyard
Open Studios (May and October) and throughout the year at the Art Student
Showcase gallery in SOHO in New York City (248 Lafayette Street, 212.941.9471).
Please contact me for pricing and I will email you a price list. I am also
available for appointments to see the artwork at my studio.
